Description

BeachGroomer started in 2002 in Detroit Lakes, MN. Craig Colman wanted to get rid of the weeds on his lakeshore. He came up with a contraption, powered by an electric irrigation pump, that spins plastic bars in a 15 foot diameter arc. A chain link dragline hanging from the bars helps pick the weeds and muck off the lake bottom. Lo and behold it worked beautifully. Craig and his wife LaRae proceeded to sell these units all over the US. One thing Craig discovered as he put the BeachGroomer together is that the pump used to power the device was not very user friendly. This problem was solved as the pumps were wired by BeachGroomer with a plug and play 8 foot cord. The hose, check valve, filter, and stand were all color-coded for more ease of set up and operation.
