Loyal Insurance Agency is founded in 2015 after long discussion and planning between its partners started since 2012. Mr. Hassan Msham, 35 (Bachelor of Business Administration. Zanzibar University, ZU) and Naomi Melckiad, 24 (Bachelor of Insurance. Institute of Finance Management, IFM) are co-founders and only current partners of Loyal. The full registration under insurance act No. 10 of 2009 completed in the early 2016 after receiving the certificate of registration as an insurance agent from Commissioner of Insurance Tanzania through Tanzania Insurance Regulatory Authority, TIRA. After completing its registration Loyal was authorized officially to provide, on behalf of Jubilee Insurance Company of Tanzania Limited, all general insurance services (Non-Life Insurance) including medical product to individuals and groups like public sectors, private institutions and family members. The partner’s committee decided to choose the Jubilee as its principal after satisfying its performance to insurance industry in East Africa especially Non-life Insurance. In 2016, our agency started its business operations by choosing three regions of Tanzania to start its integrated agency business; these are Mwanza as a head office and branch offices in Dar es Salaam and Zanzibar. Since established our team focused to change the traditional agency service provided by large number of insurance agencies in Tanzania. The strategy of this change began through knowledge, innovation of its services as agent and merging insurance agency service with other financial services to minimize complications such as means of payment, time of services and service points.
